On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, Alcantara Cyclone Space Binational Company (ACS) received from the Brazilian Institute for Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA) the Installation License (IL) allowing ACS to install the construction camp and build roads to the Cyclone-4 Launch Site area.
Together with IL, IBAMA granted permission to ACS to remove vegetation from the area where the Cyclone-4 Launch Vehicle Launch Site will be built.
The IL and the vegetation removal permission are essential to the continuity and success of the Cyclone-4 Project, enabling ACS to start the construction of its Launch Site.
