It follows one communicates published in english on the day (06/29) in the website of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) announcing that Amazonian Regional Center (CRA) of the INPE formalised partnership with Brazilian and foreign institutions.

CRA/INPE in Belém Announces Partnership Along
with Brazilian, Japanese and French Institutions

On Thursday, (July first), at 10:00am, the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) opens to the community visitation in Guamá, at the Science and Technology Park, the new facility of the Amazonian Regional Center (CRA).
During the ceremony INPE will be formalizing an agreement along with the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC), Brazilian Institute of Environment (IBAMA) and Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to train technicians from other countries to monitor tropical forests by satellite, as INPE has been doing in the Amazon state for about 20 years.
Also, in the same event a programme in partnership with the Institute of Development Research (IRD), France, enabling the SPOT satellite image distribution to make researches in the Northern and Northeastern part of Brazil will be announced.
For over one year (2009), CRA/INPE used the facilities of EMBRAPA, in Belém (PA).
