During the ceremony of the change of command of DCTA (Department of Science and Aerospace Technology), 15/04 in São José dos Campos, the commandant of the Aeronautics, brigadier Juniti Saito, affirmed that the air force intends to advance the release of VLS-1, foreseen for the year of 2014.

"We achieve to solve a problem of construction of the release platform, that should be ready until the beginning of 2011", the commandant said. "Like this, we will try to throw VLS before 2014.”

The new director of DCTA, brigadier Ailton dos Santos Pohlmann, already affirmed that for so much he believes to be indispensable to attract the federal government's more investments for the area of development of aeronautical and space technology. According to the brigadier, the employees of DCTA loss would not be just problem of wages, but of investment lack.

"Cientists and researchers are always thinking about the following steps, and they are the investments that guarantee that ", Pohlmann said.

In the opinion of the blog the placement done by brigadier Pohlmann it serves as reflection for the analysts of duty of the Brazilian Space Program.
