Ukraine Will do Everything to Develop Its Rockets Industry

It follows one communicates published in english on the day (18/04) in the website of the National Space Agency of Ukraine (NSAU) noting that according to Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine will do everything to develop its rockets-space industry.

On April 16, 2011 in Yenakiyeve President Viktor Yanukovych has taken part in a gathering dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Georgy Beregovoy’s birth.

"Thanks to Georgy Beregovoy, many years ago, I had realized the importance of rocket-space industry development. And now, as President, I will do everything for Ukraine to develop this potential, its scientific and technological complex, which has great prospects in rocket-space industry," Viktor Yanukovych said.

The President said that our space achievements are based on scientific and industrial schools of different generations of Ukrainians and that our fellow countrymen are among the founders of space flight theory.

In this context, President Yanukovych reminded that in October last year he had visited The A.M. Makarov Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant recieving evidence once again that Ukraine has strong rocket-space capabilities.

"I see our space achievements as a driving force of the country’s development. Participation in space programs indicates technological capabilities, economic prospects and the level of national security of a state," Viktor Yanukovych stressed.

"This is our ticket to a prestigious club of developed countries," he said.

"Undoubtedly, rocket-space industry is one of the most important for Ukraine. It is the prestige of our state, the possibility to develop new technologies and receive high dividends," the President said.

President Yanukovych laid flowers at the monument to Georgy Beregovy in the park, named after the famous pilot-cosmonaut.

The President of Ukraine also took part in laying the alley of Georgy Beregovy and planted an ash berry sapling in the park.

The celebration of the 90-th birthday anniversary of Georgy Beregovy was also attended by pilots-cosmonauts: twice Hero of the Soviet Union Oleksiy Leonov, Hero of the Soviet Union Oleksandr Volkov, Hero of the Russian Federation Sergey Volkov, the Hero of Ukraine Leonid Kadenyuk, Hero of the Soviet Union Vitaly Zholobov. The State Space Agency of Ukraine was represented by its Head - Yuriy Alekseyev and his Advisor - Eduard Kuznetsov.

Esse erro terá a médio e logo prazo um grande prejuízo para a sociedade brasileira e poderá significar dependência tecnológica em diversas áreas do conhecimento, motivada pela incompetência política de hoje refletida na sociedade brasileira do amanhã. É triste observar o quanto nossa classe política é abaixo da crítica, porém, já dizia minha querida avó: “Todo povo tem o governo que merece”.
